Rural Western Australia has been well reported for the significant social issues and resulting suicide statistics among the youth in that region. Some stats citing the region as having the highest suicide rate in the world for youth aged 15-25 years of age. The recent suicide statistics for the region are terrifying; they gravely understate the social disaster’s true scale. Violence, alcohol, drug-taking and self-harm all form part of a pattern of behaviour among the young indigenous population in the wide belt of country that runs from Broome along the highway to Wyndham in the north. When aspects of this picture are reported it can seem that a whole society is going under.

We support a team of aviators that are committed to seeing Gods Kingdom grow in remote Western Australia, operating primarily in the western Kimberley area for over 20 years.

There is a growing number of people in remote areas that have no opportunity to be part of a congregation. There has been a progressive withdrawal of Christian outreach in these areas over the last twenty five years so there are many people who have not heard the message of Jesus. These team of aviation enthusiasts use small airplanes to reduce the tyranny of distance to allow face to face discipleship. Where it can take 6 hours to drive into some of these communities from the closest town, the team can fly there in 45 minutes. This means that they can encourage, support, evangelize and disciple people in remote communities.

We believe that only the Gospel has the power to transform lives and that for His glory the region will be served through the selfless work done by this team of Kingdom aviators.
